GREEN RIBBON AWARD MAKES TOMORROWS FM TOP 10

PRESS RELEASE:  In January 2016, Hosking Associates Green Ribbon Award was nominated for
Tomorrows FM top 50 awards.

The voting has been counted and verified and – three months on – Hosking Associates is delighted to announce the company has been shortlisted in the top 10 – just being pipped to the third spot, coming in at number four.

The awards received a record number of votes cast showcasing some of the industry’s leading innovations.Hosking GRA logo-no year

The Green Ribbon certification launched in 2014.  It is a one-day assessment snap-shot that provides an objective summary of a business’ environmental management performance, and providing recommendations on where they can make improvements.

The certification takes account of the environmental impacts of business activities. This can include managing costs such as energy, water and waste, understanding and responding to customers, retaining and recruiting staff and demonstrating compliance to relevant legislation.

Louise Hosking, managing director at Hosking Associates, said: “There are a large number of ‘environmental and sustainability’ awards, but we set out to develop and launch our own. The award has been well considered and achieving it is no easy task.  A company has to really prove how proactive it is.

“We are therefore delighted to have come in at number four for the Tomorrow’s FM Awards, and to have been recognised for this achievement. Next year, we’ll aim for the top spot!”

About Hosking Associates

Established in 2005, Hosking Associates focuses on health and safety and the environment. Its consultants help companies and schools create a healthy and safe environment for their workforce and anyone who comes to the premises.

The company works with organisations as the health, safety and/or environmental manager – either within organisations that prefer to outsource, or where an internal resource is not necessary.

Hosking Associates saves organisations money by helping them comply with the law. The team works in partnership with clients and doesn’t just run risk or impact assessments. Instead, they guide them through the process – giving them the tools, training and confidence to manage all aspects of health, safety and sustainability on their own.
